Week 14! SWEEP WEEK!

Week 14 is upon us and I am feeling a sweep this week! We need a huge week to bounce back from a 1-1 week last week. These last few weeks have some crucial match ups that will decide who will make the playoffs and who will stay home.

Our first game we head to the AFC South where King Henry will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Last week the Titans were embarrassed by the Cleveland Browns. The Titans are in a playoff run and they have to show up this week to keep pace in the AFC and facing the Jaguars anemic defense just might be what the doctor ordered.

When we break down the match up both of these teams are not good defensively. The Jaguars are dead last in yards allowed while the Titans are 25th. The Titans however average over 29 points per game on offense and rank third in points scored. The Jaguars have looked decent on offense the last few weeks but they are 27th in points scored at 20.9 points per game. This match up to me will come down to the Jaguars trying to stop King Henry. That will allow the Titans passing game to create chunk plays. I expect AJ Brown and the receiving corps to have a great game this week.

Official Pick: Titans -7

Our second official pick we head to a match up between the Raiders and the Colts. These two teams seem to be on separate paths at the moment. The Colts are 3-1 in there last four games while the Raiders are 2-2. If we are being fair the Raiders should be 1-3 but were able to squeak out a win against the Jets last week. This game is crucial for both teams as they push towards the playoffs.

This game will come down to a few different match ups. The Colts offense has been getting healthier as of late and they have been scoring on just about everyone. The Raiders defensively are a mess. They are ranked 22nd defensively in total yards allowed but the stat that scares me the most is they allow 29 points per game to a Colts offense that is 10th in points per game offensively. I think Frank Reich will out scheme the Raiders and they won't have an answer defensively for Rivers and the quick passing game.

When we flip the match up around you can not deny that the Raiders offensively have been much better this year. Derek Carr at times has looked more like the Carr of old and the run game has looked great when Jacobs is healthy. With all of that being said the Raiders are still an average offense that will be facing one of the best defenses in the NFL. The colts are 4-2 ATS this year on the road and I do not see them going to 4-3.

Official Pick: Colts -2.5
