We are almost halfway through the NFL season. We are starting to see the real identities of each team and able to identify for the most part how each team will approach each week. This week we will have three official plays once again!
Our first selection is between the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans. The Texans have looked like a much different team over the last two weeks. Deshaun Watson has played great football and has that offense rolling. Green Bay on the other hand had a performance last week that they will want to forget about.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are 10-0 ATS following a game in where they did not cover. Rodgers did not play well in week 6 and looked extremely frustrated. This week the Packers offense faces a Houston defense that quite frankly is terrible. The Texans are in the bottom third of just about every defensive category you could imagine. The one that sticks out is that they give up almost four touchdowns a game. I expect the Packers to run the ball and get Adams open on play-action behind the linebackers. If that happens the Packers will run away with this game.
Official Pick: Packers -3
Our second selection we head out west to and NFC West matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. Both of these teams need a win against a divisional opponent to keep pace in the division.
Seattle is coming off of a bye week and had a chance to watch the Cardinals play the Cowboys on MNF. Arizona is a good team but they are not the Seahawks. Arizona has played a relatively soft schedule thus far and when you break it down they are going to struggle to get pressure on Russell Wilson. Seattle has struggled defensively but they have enough to hold off Murray and get the job done.
Official Pick: Seahawks -3
Our third selection we are going to the AFC East and the matchup between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. Buffalo comes off of two disappointing games where they were beaten pretty convincingly by the Titans and Chiefs. We are not overthinking this one. The Jets are 0-6 ATS this year and Buffalo is upset and will take out some frustration on the Jets. I see Josh Allen showing up and throwing for 3 TDS and probably gets a rushing TD as well.
Official Pick: Bills -13
